This is pretty much a diary. I've been a public school custodian for 24 years. Although my school system has the image of being one of the best around, images can be deceiving. It has it's share of skeletons and corruption.------------------------------------------------------------ Scrape the Windows?-----------------------------------------An old principal I worked for (now retired) at an elementary school ordered me once to "scrape the windows". I asked her about 4 more times what she meant and she pretended to get increasingly frantic. "You know, scrape the windows!!!" I finally said in a calm voice "OK" and that made her happy. Bizarre incidents like this have peppered my career much more than I would've liked, but so much so that I named my blog after this one. Anyway, she loved to play with people's minds. What a crazy, evil woman. To think, she was allowed around children..... ----------------------------------------I live in the lower Great Lakes area and get a huge variety of weather. I love that variety and don't know where else I'd live. I'm sure there's gotta be a better place but I don't know where.

I was Raiders of the Lost Ark. What's more disturbing is that these movies are "classics". That means we are old now.

I think I'd rather be Raiders of the Lost Ark. I bought the trilogy a few weeks ago.
Did you know Harrison Ford worked out heavily before filming Temple of Doom because he knew he'd have to go shirtless during much of it & he wanted to look his best? Then, in a fight scene he seriously hurt his lower back. But he recovered quickly, due much to the fact that he was otherwise in physically great shape by preparing for filming.
He lucked out, doing the right thing at the right time.
Wow, these are classics, huh? But you're right, that's what they're showing on American Movie Classics (AMC) now.
I have no desire to even see Platoon and that's exactly how I was rated. Doesn't make sense to me.
I am 'Apocalypse Now'
This is one of my all-time favourite films.
